The Role

We are seeking a highly creative and dynamic Senior Social Media Manager to lead and transform our presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit. This role blends strategic leadership and hands-on creative execution: you will serve as both a creative strategist (helping set the vision and quality bar for our social media presence) and a producer (able to generate excellent social media content that resonates).

Your mission is to grow vibrant communities, create viral content, and authentically represent our brand in ways that resonate with people of all ages who care about mental fitness — from those seeking an educational or professional edge to those looking to prevent cognitive decline.

You will establish and own the social media function end-to-end, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing and collaborating with a talented team. With significant autonomy, you’ll shape strategy, act as a creative quality check across channels, and rapidly create and iterate engaging content across channels.

This is a fully remote position anywhere in North America, with a preference for candidates based in or around NYC, Boston, or Los Angeles.

• Serve as a key creative voice, ensuring excellent taste and consistency across social, ads, websites, and blogs.
• Rapidly generate fresh ideas and content concepts that reflect our product value propositions.
• Maintain a high bar for creative execution while pushing boundaries and experimenting with new formats, including AI.
• Independently create excellent social content (written, visual, video, memes, etc.) across multiple formats and platforms.
• Rapidly spot and capitalize on emerging social media trends with content that has the potential to go viral.
• Manage a social media calendar while remaining agile to real-time opportunities.
• Confidently craft messages and creative that resonate with a diverse, global audience.
• Launch and grow authentic presences on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit.
• Enter and participate credibly in online communities (e.g., Reddit), engaging in conversations, AMAs, and thought leadership.
• Foster authentic two-way engagement on social channels.
• Use data to inform decisions and refine strategies, demonstrating a consistent pattern of data-driven growth.
• Integrate AI tools into your workflow to accelerate creativity and efficiency.

What We'Re Looking For:

• An impressive portfolio showcasing social growth and viral content, especially on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Excellent taste and strong writing ability: a storyteller who can adapt across mediums and raise the bar for all outward-facing content.
• Ability to independently create engaging content — from ideation to execution — with credibility in areas like cognitive health, mindfulness, and education.
• Prior success in spotting and capitalizing on trends quickly.
• Comfort in using analytics to optimize strategy and a track record of data-driven decision-making.
• Superb project management skills, balancing independence with collaboration.
• A genuine interest in helping people improve their lives and achieve their mental fitness goals.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with influencer marketing and affiliate partnerships.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
• Solid understanding of SEO for cross-channel growth.
• Leadership experience with people management.
• Experience collaborating in distributed teams.
