About The Role:

 

The Saas Operations Intern will assist in providing IT support services for enterprise SaaS software at The New York Times Company. You will have an opportunity to learn about supporting several functional business areas and will work with the Enterprise Productivity team to ensure seamless service for end users. SaaS Operations Intern reports to: Manager, Enterprise Productivity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help provide technical support for SaaS applications such as G Suite, Slack, Airtable, Coda, etc.
  • Learn to handle support requests via ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Support the End User Services team by assisting with technical support, training materials, and documentation.
  • Observe and potentially participate in strategy and planning discussions for upcoming IT projects.
  • Help maintain knowledge of enterprise cloud software supported by the company.
  • Support the data ingestion process for Zylo, our software asset management platform.
  • Participate in the inventory and tracking of our application portfolio.
  • Help with special projects as assigned by management.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to identify and help resolve minor issues.
  • Help identify areas for improvement in the customer experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with technical support and assisting users
  • Basic familiarity with cloud concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a professional environment communicating in written and verbal modes

The hourly rate of base pay for this role is:$20$20 USD
