About Kandji
Kandji is the Apple device management and security platform that empowers secure and productive global work. With Kandji, Apple devices transform themselves into enterprise-ready endpoints, with all the right apps, settings, and security systems in place. Through advanced automation and thoughtful experiences, we’re bringing much-needed harmony to the way IT, InfoSec, and Apple device users work today and tomorrow.
Some of the smartest money in tech has partnered with Kandji to realize our vision, including Tiger Global, Felicis, Greycroft, First Round Capital, and Okta Ventures. In July 2024, Kandji raised $100 million in capital from General Catalyst, bringing Kandji’s valuation to $850 Million.
Since Kandji’s Series C in 2021, the company has seen a 600%+ increase in annual recurring revenue, and its customer base has grown nearly 4X across 40+ industries. Notable customers include Allbirds, Canva, and Notion, and the company has partnerships with such industry giants as ServiceNow, AWS, and Okta.
Kandji was also named to Forbes’ Next Billion Dollar Startup List 2023 and recognized as a top venture-backed startup with the potential to reach unicorn status.
The Opportunity
At Kandji, we’re evolving our product suite into a true multi-product platform, and Web Foundations is at the heart of that transformation. As a Staff Software Engineer on this team, you’ll own the front-end architecture and shared systems that power the entire platform experience. This is a high-impact role where the technical decisions you make will directly shape how our products scale, integrate, and deliver value to customers.
You’ll go far beyond component libraries — driving the architecture for cross-product navigation and routing, global notifications, activity feeds, asset management, developer experience, and reusable front-end infrastructure. You’ll partner closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to set the standards for scalability, performance, accessibility, and consistency across Kandji’s platform.
Experience across the stack is a plus, but deep expertise in front-end architecture is required. This role is about leverage: building foundations once, and enabling every product team to move faster with greater quality. As a technical leader, you’ll guide strategy, mentor engineers, and be a key voice in defining the next generation of Kandji’s web platform.

As a technical leader, you’ll guide strategy, mentor engineers, and be a key voice in defining the next generation of Kandji’s web platform.
How You’Ll Make A Difference Day To Day:
- Architect the platform: Define and evolve the front-end architecture that powers Kandji’s multi-product platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Build shared systems: Lead development of global capabilities like notifications, activity feeds, navigation/routing, and asset management that serve every product team.
- Evolve the design system: Drive the next generation of Kandji’s design system and component libraries, ensuring accessibility, consistency, and adoption across all products.
- Champion developer experience: Improve tooling, workflows, and frameworks to make front-end development at Kandji faster, more reliable, and more enjoyable for all engineers.
- Set engineering standards: Establish patterns, frameworks, and best practices for state management, code quality, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Mentor and influence: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers across teams, raising the bar for front-end development organization-wide.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with design, product, and backend engineering to align on shared goals, improve integration, and accelerate delivery.
- Deliver leverage: Build foundations once and enable product teams to move faster, reduce duplication, and ship with greater quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of front-end engineering experience, with deep expertise in React and modern front-end architecture; at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven track record designing and scaling front-end platforms — including micro-frontend architectures, shared infrastructure, or multi-product environments.
- Experience building and maintaining component libraries and shared UI frameworks that support theming, localization, and customizability.
- Strong grasp of developer experience: improving tooling, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate front-end delivery across teams.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience applying them within large, complex codebases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous technical challenges and design scalable, long-term solutions.
- Experience optimizing front-end performance (lazy loading, code splitting, caching, efficient state management).
- Ability to influence cross-team design and engineering decisions, driving alignment on architecture, standards, and shared systems.
- Experience collaborating closely with design and engineering teams to ensure consistent, intuitive, and high-quality user experiences.
- Required to work on-site 5x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables).
