Security Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a Security Engineer with strong expertise in DevOps practices and Linux environments to join our technology team. This role is critical for ensuring the security and resilience of our infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure solutions for systems, applications, and DevOps pipelines.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD workflows.
• Manage, monitor, and secure Linux-based environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents, providing effective mitigation strategies.
• Document security procedures, configurations, and tools to maintain organizational standards.
• DevOps Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with DevOps tools and workflows (mandatory).
• Linux Proficiency: Advanced experience with Linux environments for deployment and security operations (mandatory).
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C#, Java, and Shell scripting.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Language Skills: English proficiency at B2+ to C1 level (intermediate to advanced).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks or certifications.
