About The Role

You will be responsible for the development, optimization, and evolution of key third-party platforms such as Salesforce and Zendesk. Your primary goal will be to maximize our investment in these platforms, driving exceptional experiences and efficiency for the internal teams that depend on them. As a technology-driven organization, finding the right leader for this critical role is essential to our future growth and scalability.

In this capacity, you will manage, maintain, and evolve the integration of these systems and platforms, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver a strategic capability roadmap over time. You will work alongside diverse stakeholder groups, including go-to-market, claims, marketing, and customer success teams, to develop solutions that meet both our technical requirements and business objectives.

As a leader you will cultivate a high-performing team of systems administrators and engineers. You will foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within your team, while providing guidance and mentorship to support their professional growth. Your ultimate goal will be to create a reliable, efficient, and scalable environment that enables our organization to achieve its strategic objectives.

Additionally, you will stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in systems development and integration, using this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation. This will involve evaluating new tools and technologies and refining existing processes to ensure our organization remains agile and competitive in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of systems administrators and software engineers responsible for overall delivery of core business systems across key functions (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance).
• Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate the planning and prioritization  process, provide oversight of solutions delivery, resolve escalated issues, and facilitate communication on any critical issues.
• Manage the integration, customization, and maintenance of third-party systems, including Salesforce and Netsuite, to meet the organization's needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain system requirements, performance metrics, and best practices.
• Build and lead a high-caliber team of engineers experienced in third-party systems development and integration.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to the systems team, ensuring high-quality development and timely delivery of solutions.
• Drive adoption of systems and tools by developing comprehensive training programs and documentation for end-users.
• Continuously assess and identify opportunities for systems improvements, and develop recommendations for system enhancements or replacements.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that Coalition remains at the forefront of Insurtech innovation.

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems development and integration. 
• Must have extensive experience with Salesforce and a minimum of 5 years of experience managing a Salesforce development team. 
• Demonstrated expertise managing complex integration solutions, such as, APIs, and Data integration layers (Batch & Real-Time) 
• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams with expertise in third-party systems development and integration.
• Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to architect, design, and implement system solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder groups and drive consensus.
• Experience in systems development with Netsuite is a plus. 
• Experience in the insurance, insurtech, or financial services related industries are a plus.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $167,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Your recruiter can share more on target salary for your location during the interview process. Coalition, Inc. reserves the right to modify this range as needed.
