Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Overview

Celanese is looking for an experienced candidate to join our Finance team in Budapest as FP&A Manager. This role will be responsible for managing FP&A activities, providing strategic financial insights, and leading a team of Financial Analysts that directly support the Global FP&A organization and other Finance organizations / senior management.

As a FP&A Manager , you will play a critical role providing support to the Global FP&A organization and senior management by performing financial analysis on ad-hoc projects. 

Responsibilities

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

• Report and analyze key components of the P&L including: Sales & Administration, Research & Development, Fixed Distribution, OCOS, OOI/OOE. Act as owner of these functional areas.
• Manage dedicated plants’ financial controlling activities and ownership
• Manage and ensure quality and timely P&L reports and forecasts completed by BBSC FP&A
• Lead and prepare annual operating budget plan
• Work closely with the Business CFOs and Business Line Controllers to ensure service satisfaction and provide recommendations to senior management
• Handles confidential company information with utmost integrity
• Educate, train, support and coach FP&A team leaders/direct reports in all aspects of their jobs
• Interact with other finance and accounting personnel thorough the organization as necessary
• Foster an environment of process improvement and productivity

Qualifications

What YOU will bring to the team:

• BSs or MSc degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics is a minimum requirement
• Six plus (6+) years’ leadership experience
• Ability to motivate and develop people and keep them engaged
• Good spoken and written English and can clearly present financial results. Technical understanding of SAP BI, BPC, MS Excel and SAP PR3/S4
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment
• Skills to communicate with higher level management
• Understanding of finance and accounting operations & internal accounting controls
• Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, conflict negotiation skills
• Strong customer focus
