**This role is estimated to be 30 hours per week

Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Project Manager:

• Work with a local transportation authority client to develop industrial hygiene assessments to meet their program needs 
• Assessments to include hazardous materials, lead based paint, and indoor air quality 
• Serve as team lead during implementation of field assessments 
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing reports  
• Building Material Sample Collection including Asbestos Assessments, Sampling, Project Oversight, and Clearance testing; Lead-Based Paint Inspections; Lead-Based Paint Sampling and Project Oversight 
• Ensure safe work practices on all project work 

What We'Re Looking For:

• BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or other related field 
• 12+ years of experience with Industrial Hygiene field sampling and data collection 
• Experience with industrial exposure monitoring, asbestos, mold, and/or lead sampling 
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and State Asbestos Inspector license required 
• Experience conducting asbestos surveys and overseeing hazardous materials, asbestos, and mold abatements; Asbestos Designer license preferred 
• Valid driver's license required 
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite 
• Demonstrated familiarity with local transportation authority facilities and safety requirements.
