We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our team and play a key role in building customer-facing experiences and internal tools in a high-traffic environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong backend expertise in PHP/Laravel who can also contribute across the stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and code quality.

What You’Ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP/Laravel.
• Build efficient, scalable, and secure backend solutions aligned with best practices.
• Work with SQL databases to design, implement, and optimize data models.
• Integrate backend services with third-party platforms such as Shopify.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, technical documentation, and code reviews.
• Mentor and support other engineers, promoting clean and maintainable code.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

What You’Ll Bring

• Advanced English level for effective communication in meetings and documentation.
• Proven expertise in PHP with hands-on experience in the Laravel framework.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining backend applications and APIs.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
• Ability to contribute as a fullstack engineer when needed.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with React, Remix, and strict TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Node.js (strong plus).
• Experience with Shopify (huge plus).

Nice To Have

• Exposure to GCP or Azure cloud environments.
• Experience in monorepo or modular repository setups.
• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers.
