Workday Extend Consultant

Job Title: Workday Extend Resource (Permanent)
Location: Remote (India) / Hybrid – Pune
Compensation: (Full-time, Permanent Role)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement Workday Extend applications to support business operations.
• Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy Workday Extend apps with strong focus on performance and usability.
• Integrate Extend applications with Workday HCM and third-party systems.
• Provide continuous production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize apps post-implementation.
• Adhere to Workday security, compliance, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–8 years of Workday experience, including 2+ years hands-on Workday Extend.
• Expertise in Workday HCM, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio integrations.
• Strong programming knowledge (REST APIs, JSON, XML, object-oriented design).
• Proven experience in full-cycle Extend app development (concept → deployment).
• Workday certification(s) preferred (Workday Extend Pro a strong plus).
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-To-Have:

• Familiarity with Workday Reporting, BIRT, and Security.
• Prior experience with global, large-scale Workday implementations.
