Key job responsibilities
* Own comprehensive testing strategy and execution for multiple healthcare applications and services
* Lead test planning, design, and execution for complex, multi-platform healthcare systems
* Develop and maintain automated test suites using modern testing frameworks
* Mentor junior QAE team members and provide technical guidance
* Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams on quality requirements
* Drive quality engineering best practices and process improvements across the team
* Lead API testing initiatives including REST/GraphQL services and microservices architectures
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR) and security standards
* Design and execute performance, load, and scalability testing strategies
* Participate in architecture and design reviews with quality engineering perspective
* Lead incident response and root cause analysis for quality-related issues
* Drive continuous integration and deployment quality gates
* Establish quality metrics and reporting dashboards

- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Advanced knowledge of industry technologies and expert proficiency with STLC and testing methodologies
- Ability to create, optimize, and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex scenarios involving multiple engineering teams
- Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or Go)
- Designs and implements test solutions that are reusable, reliable, scalable, and efficient
- Extensive experience with advanced test automation frameworks (Selenium Grid, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Pytest)
- Deep expertise in API testing tools and methodologies (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC)
- Advanced database testing skills with complex SQL queries and data validation strategies
- Proven ability to lead test plan reviews, code reviews, design discussions, team planning, and metrics analysis
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code
- Expertise with performance testing tools and methodologies (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner)
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems testing (AWS preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior QAEs on products, testing approaches, and solution architecture
- Strong technical leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and system design skills
- Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience working effectively across global teams and multiple time zones
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

- Experience with microservices and containerized application testing
- Advanced automation skills with frameworks like Selenium Grid, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment
- Knowledge of mobile application testing (iOS/Android) including device farms and mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
- Mobile testing and automation experience across different devices, operating systems, and form factors
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native testing approaches
- Familiarity with machine learning model testing and data quality validation
- Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing
- Knowledge of accessibility testing standards (WCAG, Section 508)
- Experience with test data management and synthetic data generation
- Certification in quality assurance or testing (ISTQB, CSTE, or similar)
