Role summary:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. About the team:
The 10X team comprises skilled Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Full Stack technologists dedicated to developing scalable, data-driven solutions for Walmart. This multidisciplinary group combines expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, and data science to create intelligent systems that deliver significant business value. The team focuses on designing autonomous AI agents, deploying robust applications, and building core engineering capabilities at enterprise scale. By leveraging data, AI, and agile engineering, 10X drives innovation that enhances operational efficiency and accelerates Walmart’s ability to serve associates and customers effectively.
What you'll do:
- Analyze and classify business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and risk mitigation strategies.
- Design scalable software solutions by applying architecture principles, design patterns, and detailed functional logic.
- Develop, configure, and maintain high-quality, testable code adhering to coding standards and security policies.
- Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality and support defect identification and resolution.
- Monitor application performance and implement continuous integration and deployment processes to enhance system reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate change requests and provide expert guidance on software development best practices.
What You'Ll Bring:
- Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in Python and related coding standards.
- Strong knowledge of solution design, software architecture, and scalable distributed systems.
- Expertise in requirement analysis, including functional and non-functional requirements classification and risk assessment.
- Proven ability to create detailed designs, user stories, and maintainable, testable code aligned with business needs.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, telemetry implementation, and application monitoring.
- Skilled in defect management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting performance issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
