Food Services - Taco Bell Cashier/Food Service Worker (FWS/NFWS)

Purpose Within The Organization:

The purpose of this position is to assist Taco Bell with a variety of tasks such as prepping food in the kitchen, supporting the production of food products that are required, remaining on the line when assigned, cleaning and sanitizing work stations, dishes and production equipment. Open to working multiple stations. Providing excellent customer service and team work.

Responsibilities Related To Purpose:

• Read recipes and/or product directions.

• Estimate Food Requirements.

• Operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix ,stir, strain, season, and knead food for cooking, serving, and storing.
• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Clean and ​sanitize work stations and equipment following all Taco Bell/Sodexo regulatory rules and procedures.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
• Must be available to work shifts Tuesdays-Fridays 10am-3pm, 3pm-8pm and 8pm-1am as well as a closing shift once a week.
• Mandatory one closing a week and a maximum 20 hours a week.
• Must be able to work weekday evenings, closing, and weekends. Hours of operations 10am-1am.
• Must have Maricopa County Food Handler's card.
• Must provide own non-slip shoes and black pants.

• Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. 
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
