The Production Manager leads and supports the operations team, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing. This role requires a deep understanding of production processes, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning. The manager is accountable for delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations for cost and timeliness, while maintaining equipment and processes in accordance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and company policies. Additionally, the role provides technical expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a major operational area, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
  • Support development of annual and long-term business plans; forecast performance and resource needs; build business cases for key initiatives.
  • Communicate functional strategy and align team goals with organizational mission, vision, and values.
  • Monitor HS&E performance; address non-compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and oversee monthly and annual production plans across multiple facilities; coordinate with dependent units and track performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Lead larger improvement projects with guidance from senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or atleast 8 years of extensive experience in manufacturing operations, with deep expertise in production planning, resource management, and process improvement.
  • Proven ability to manage short- and medium-term planning within organizational frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; able to motivate teams and drive alignment with business objectives.
  • Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of safety, learning, and continuous development.
  • Experience guiding others in interpreting policies, managing change, and achieving strategic goals.
