The Cordella Heart Failure System consists of hardware, software, and data products. We are executing a roadmap of innovation across the platform as part of our goal to transform heart failure management. The Director, Marketing will manage upstream marketing activities with a focus on software products.  

How you will make an impact:

  • Co-own software product roadmap (in partnership with the technical product manager) by bringing deep insights into market dynamics and user personas
  • Effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and IHFM leadership to drive prioritization and progress  
  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and VOC (Voice of Customer) activities to identify unmet needs
  • Build strong relationships with key thought leaders to anticipate the future market environment and unmet needs
  • Define and maintain Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that shape product direction
  • Support go-to-market planning, including messaging, positioning, pricing, and launch strategy
  • Align product and platform claims and indications with market access and regulatory strategy
  • Actively participate in technical team meetings and new product development design control activities
  • Develop deep heart failure expertise across clinical, behavioral, and economic domains
  • Other incidental dutiesWhat we you will need (required):
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field related experience in marketing and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the previous level
  • Demonstrated track record in people management and cross functional collaboration
  • Experience working in a regulated industry Preferred
  • Must be in office at our Naperville, IL office

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
  • Ability to prioritize work within the team based on critical business needs
  • Ability to articulate the vision of the business unit and function
  • Frequently interacts with customers, and internal and external management concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications

For Illinois, the base pay range for this position is $170,000 to $241,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
