What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Managed Desktop – Banking Centre team. You’ll lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Consultant, Infrastructure Management you’ll support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How You'Ll Succeed
- Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Work with Service Designers and Architecture teams to provide input into the future state roadmaps and architecture.
- Leading and Mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
- Engineering - Ensure the readiness of managed desktop banking center environment for Windows 11 Semi-Annual channel updates. Provide level 3 operational support to resolve technology related incidents. Apply concepts, best practices and procedures relative to end user technologies, and take overall responsibility for the health and well-being of the managed desktop banking center environment, including proactive reporting, troubleshooting and resolving end user impacting issues.
Who You Are
- You have more than 4 years of experience supporting CIBC desktop environments and end user technologies. You possess strong technical expertise and subject matter knowledge in Microsoft technologies, including Windows 11, Azure Windows Analytics and Azure Desktop Analytics. You are proficient in Active Directory management, including Group Policy administration. You are skilled in scripting with PowerShell and have extensive knowledge of SCCM and Intune. You are adept at managing and troubleshooting endpoint devices such as desktop computers, laptops and tablets, as well as peripherals including swipe devices, cheque scanners, e-signature devices and printers. You have a deep understanding of CIBC and managed desktop banking center environments, along with comprehensive knowledge of CIBC processes, standards and change management protocols. You are experienced in producing high-quality technical documentation and delivering effective verbal and written communication, including polished presentation skills.

- You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field, and you’ve spent at least 3 years in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions. It’s an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies, and Application and/or Architecture Development.
