The Environmental Science and Policy Department at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science at the University of Miami has an exciting full-time position for a Research Associate 1. The employee will work as a researcher in Dr. Katherine Mach’s laboratory.
Duties Include:
- Analyzing data on stormwater drainage infrastructure.
- Conducting statistical and comparative analyses.
- Drafting text summarizing the methods and findings of the research.
Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):
Bachelor's degree in a climate or engineering related discipline is required
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Experience with statistical methods.
- Expertise in literature research.
- Experience with platforms for data processing and statistical computing, as well as graphics preparation, (e.g., Excel, R, ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator).
