The Environmental Science and Policy Department at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science at the University of Miami has an exciting full-time position for a Research Associate 1.  The employee will work as a researcher in Dr. Katherine Mach’s laboratory.

Duties Include:

• Analyzing data on stormwater drainage infrastructure.
• Conducting statistical and comparative analyses.
• Drafting text summarizing the methods and findings of the research.

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):

Bachelor's degree in a climate or engineering related discipline is required

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Experience with data analysis.
• Experience with statistical methods.
• Expertise in literature research.
• Experience with platforms for data processing and statistical computing, as well as graphics preparation, (e.g., Excel, R, ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator).
