The Short-Term Disabilities Center of Excellence team is looking for an Associate Manager. Reporting to the Manager, the Associate manager will be required to effectively lead a team of Short-term Disability Case Managers. This includes the support and application of effective disability management practices and procedures, as well as playing an active role in building and maintaining client relations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the development of team members
- Ensure unparalleled customer relations management
- Proactively manage workflows to maximize our resources
- Manage performance of the team and its members
- Ensure the application of our Disability best practices
- Provide technical support and/or proactive case management coaching in more complex situations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Drive business and service outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
- University degree in a relevant discipline
- Excellent knowledge of disability product, processes and best practices
- 2-3 years experience in a leadership role with outstanding leadership skills
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, technical training, and/or developing people
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Bilingual is required (French and English – spoken and written)

- Ability to quickly manage fluctuations in workflows
- Ability to multitask and deliver with limited turnaround time
- Strong Problem-solving skills while ensuring client-centric focus in our interventions
- Strong business acumen and adaptability in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, multiple team environment
