Job Description

About This Job:

We are looking for a passionate IT Security Analyst to join our centralized Security function. You will be embedded in a small international team where your impact really makes a difference. The Security function drives and develops our security framework for PartnerRe worldwide. This framework is built on the 5 core pillars around Identification, Protection, Detection, Response and Recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security monitoring
• Incident response
• Detection engineering
• Security engineering, vulnerability analysis and remediation 
• Risk management and reduction
• Working on security improvements

Qualifications

About You:

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of the following technologies: PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure PaaS & IaaS, networking protocols, Microsoft Defender stack familiarity with DevSecOps, Application security and knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, NIST standards and MITRE ATT&CK
• You have good analytical and documentation skills that you proactively apply in your daily work

Soft Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Able to collaborate in a culturally diverse environment and different geographical locations and across different teams
• English fluency with French or German considered a plus
• Excellent analysis skills
• Ability to build trust and confidence
• Adaptable with good documentation skills especially regarding incidents
• Familiarity with establishing processes
• You feel comfortable working in a virtual team environment, and you are able to influence without formal authority
• Work autonomously and drive improvements

Work Experience:

• Three to ten years working in an operational information technology role
• Minimum of 2 years in an IT security specific role such as a SOC analyst or similar

Education:

• Ideally, your educational background is in Information Technology, with a focus on Information Security (e.g. a Computer Science or Cyber Security undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Ideally, you own a security related certification or similar relevant certification
