Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
As a Manager, Production Planning, you will lead PO management process, overseeing the execution of order change request and managing exceptions. This role requires a proven track record in people management, and the ability to work collectively with Brand Operation Teams in the four regions (NORA, CASA, APAC & EMEA) and Vendors ensuring deliveries are met on time, and the team orchestrate and lead communication with key stakeholders
You will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of processes, lead the interaction of championing change with internal teams, managing systems for effective KPI reporting and having analytical story telling as a key lever for improvement.
Lead and develop your direct reports under the guidance of VF Guiding Principles. Embrace and foster One VF culture in every interaction with your direct reports, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Result Areas:
- Own and drive purchase order management process including purchase order creation (where applicable) and change memo issuing in accordance with business requirements
- Analyze weekly exception and unconfirmed PO’s taking appropriate action to resolve issues and maintain CRD dates
- Collaborate with Global Material Supply, QA and vendors to ensure on time deliveries and escalation of reporting where required
- Strive to overcome challenges in optimizing KPI management, having the passion to do more than ‘just bringing in the numbers’
- Work closely with VF Logistics and Vendors to optimize delivery times ensuring on time delivery
- Monitor & measure factory KPIs and ensure that Vendor scorecards are maintained.
- Coordinate with Sourcing Leaders and CSR Team with vendors, to ensure that all factory audit activities are relevant, appropriate and timebound
- Leverage and harmonized reporting/production tracking tools to provide effective visibility to Brand & Regions.
- Act as a change agent/ambassador throughout the Product Supply and Supply Chain organization by building trust with various levels in the organization, communicate clearly and consistently business objectives and management vision.
- Recruit and maintain best in class team to meet or exceed business performance expectations. Foster an environment of empowerment and passion where trust, creativity, innovation and openness can thrive

Functional Competencies
- Excellent English (writing and speaking) skills. Other Asian language a plus.
- Excellent Excel, Power Point and Presentation skill.
- Deep functional planning knowledge

- Proven management experience including leading, coaching, mentoring, and building effective team within a department
- Actively provide input on planning system transformation, for example S2A (Supply Chain Platform), demonstrating business acumen and constructing resource implication plan.
- Evaluate and execute new system implementations to ensure that the business is working effectively and that we have the correct level of resource allocated to workload
Experience
- Minimum Relevant Experience: Proven leadership experience in managing complex planning functions and diverse teams across varying country locations
- Minimum Supervisory Experience: Leading complex teams and organizations
- Minimum Degree Held: University Degree in BA, Bachelor or Master level
- Subject Expert In: Operations, Supply Chain, International Business
