The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

  1. You will develop and execute a robust sales strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives while collaborating with marketing and product development teams also conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer behavior and competitor dynamics, using insights to define effective pricing strategies.
  2. 2. You will set and manage sales targets, implementing improvement plans as needed to drive team performance and achieve results.
  3. 3. You will monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing insightful reports for senior management that highlight achievements and market trends also identify growth opportunities within existing and potential customers, effectively allocating resources and managing requests for quotations.
  4. 4. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration also achieve sales volume and profitability targets by establishing optimal pricing, managing costs efficiently, and participating in key contract negotiations.
  5. 5. You will lead the team of specific segment and ensure the team is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed also guides, motivates and develops direct subordinates within HR policies.
  6. 6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  8. You hold a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  9. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management or business development in the energy industry.
  10. 3. Advanced proficiency in coordinating and managing multiple sales projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and delivery of objectives.
