Position Overview:
The Master Data Management (MDM) Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data within the organization. This position is responsible for the setup and maintenance of part data in the system, ensuring that all attributes are correctly defined and updated. The MDM Associate will also focus on automating processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance data quality and streamline workflows. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Part Setup And Maintenance:
- Create and maintain part records in the system, ensuring all attributes (e.g., descriptions, classifications, pricing, and supplier details) are accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, engineering, supply chain, and IT) to gather and validate data requirements for new parts.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies for data entry and attribute management.
Data Integrity And Quality Assurance:
- Regularly audit and monitor master data to identify inconsistencies, errors, or gaps.
- Implement corrective actions to resolve data quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies to protect the integrity of master data.
Process Automation And Improvement:
- Identify manual or repetitive processes related to data management and propose automation solutions to improve efficiency.
- Work with IT and other stakeholders to design and implement tools, scripts, or workflows that streamline data entry, validation, and reporting.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Collaboration And Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for master data-related inquiries and issues.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data management processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure master data aligns with organizational objectives.
Reporting And Analysis:
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and process efficiency.
- Analyze trends and patterns in data to identify opportunities for improvement or potential risks.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
Compliance And Documentation:
- Ensure all master data processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management procedures, workflows, and system configurations.
What We Are Looking For:
- 2-3 years of related experience (experience in similar companies/industries is a nice-to-have).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English.
- Bachelor's degree.
Even Better If You Have:
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, etc).
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days work from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$22,208.33 - $25,926.58 MXN MonthlyActual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
