Role And Responsibilities
- Drive growth and increased share for Samsung’s $600m+ business in Verizon’s B2B Channel by developing leadership plans and strategies that drive results, where “business first” is critical to success.
- Partner with Verizon’s Consumer Group customer channels to funnel critical Voice of the Customer (VOC) inputs related to Samsung products and go-to-market strategy and execution across channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, category sales, product development, and operations to achieve the sales objectives identified by the company. This will require the development of sales strategies, product introduction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead B2B Channel Sales team of to achieve the best and most profitable product sales opportunities in the North American market place. Ensure that financial resources and incentives are used to optimize increased revenue, maximize sell through, and achieve profitable results.
- Develop strategies for both Enterprise and SMB sales channels and identify results to be achieved within each business. Identify and develop new opportunities and business relationships which results in the achievement of increased revenue and profitability.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customer leadership to pursue new profitable business opportunities and product developments and to increase market share.
- Spearhead the recruitment, motivation, development and retention of professionals who can deliver sustained (profitable) revenue growth. Instill a culture of accountability and empowerment, performance-based management, teamwork and other best practices to achieve the goals of the organization.
- Leverage market and internal analytics to develop a go-to-market strategy in support of Samsung objectives, including account and product line specific programs.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS degree preferred, plus 14 years of progressively senior sales roles in top-tier, branded fast moving companies ideally in categories with more similar go-to-market strategies to that of Samsung.
- Strong understanding of B2B category management and merchandising techniques consistent with having led a field/channel sales organization.
- Proven track record having helped profitably grow a business, having developed and implemented the appropriate polices and processes necessary to drive and manage a business with specific metrics and discipline.
- An organizational change-agent
- Strong strategic planning skills
- Outstanding skills, financial acumen, organizational planning and talent selection skills required.
- A proven self-starter, he/she must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good business judgment, and outstanding managerial leadership ability.
- Ability to bring outstanding interpersonal skills (including excellent oral and written communication), strong intellect and problem solving skills to any discussion with colleagues and/or customers.
- The ideal candidate will be a consummate leader and will have a proven ability to build, grow and inspire teams. She/he will demonstrate dynamic leadership ability and have strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to manage effectively across the organization.

- The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- Work is generally performed in an office environment.
- The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
- Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
- Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
- Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in New Jersey, is expected to be between $215,500 and $266,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
