As Senior Specialist Employees Communications (m/f/d) you will be the strategic and operational driver of internal messaging across our EMEA region. This role is pivotal in fostering a connected, informed, and engaged workforce across 11 manufacturing plants and multiple offices.
You will be responsible for ensuring that employees understand and feel aligned with our company’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
You will lead the internal communications function with a strong execution mindset, providing clear direction and support to our network of communication champions. Your role will involve crafting and delivering impactful communications that support business transformation, cultural alignment, leadership visibility, and employee engagement.
You will set clear boundaries and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all internal channels. With a strong focus on innovation, you will explore and integrate new channels and technologies—including AI—to enhance communication effectiveness and personalization.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, operational excellence, and digital fluency.
What you will do
- Build and execute internal communication plans that support business goals, change initiatives, and cultural transformation.
- Ensure clarity and consistency in messaging across all levels of the organization.
- Drive employee engagement through compelling content, campaigns, and feedback mechanisms.
- Lead the communications champions network in EMEA and promote best practice sharing within communication teams (global and cross business unit).
- Support leadership communication, including town halls, video messages, and strategic updates.
- Manage internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, townhalls, collaboration platforms) and continuously improve their effectiveness.and coordinate or manage the actual events.Creates concept for events that boost employee engagement and recognition,
- Measure impact through analytics and employee feedback, using insights to refine strategies.
- Champion innovation, including the use of AI tools to automate, personalize, and scale communications.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Management, or related field required.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in related positions, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for innovation.
- Ability to set boundaries, manage expectations, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptable, accountable, excellence integrity and teamwork.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written, in German and English.
