Business Analytics Senior Advisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analytics Senior Advisor to support Express Scripts Pharmacy Drug Sourcing with a strong focus on financial data analysis and forecasting. This role is critical in driving data-informed decisions across Drug Sourcing and the broader Supply Chain organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and cost analysis, and will partner cross-functionally to optimize sourcing strategies and improve financial outcomes.
This position requires a continuous-improvement mindset and a passion for leveraging data to influence business strategy. You will lead the development and implementation of technical solutions, processes, and standards that directly impact financial performance and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions
•    Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for financial analytics within Strategic Drug Sourcing, translating complex business needs into actionable insights and automated solutions.
•    Lead the development of financial models and forecasting tools to support sourcing decisions, cost optimization, and budget planning.
•    Partner cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Finance, and ESI/Cigna teams to align financial goals and drive strategic initiatives.
•    Deliver in-depth analysis and reporting on drug sourcing costs, supplier performance, and market trends to support executive decision-making.
•    Present financial insights and scenario modeling to leadership, enabling rapid response to market changes and strategic opportunities.
•    Support ad hoc financial analysis requests and “what if” scenarios to evaluate sourcing alternatives and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree highly desired; Master’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field strongly preferred.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analysis, preferably within PBM, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries.
•    Proven ability to develop and present financial models, forecasts, and cost-benefit analyses to senior stakeholders.
•    Proficiency in Teradata SQL, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and Tableau; experience with Alteryx and other data automation tools highly desired.
•    Strong technical skills in data management, financial reporting, and scenario planning.
•    Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
•    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and driving results.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,500 - 182,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
