About The Role:

MSS Security is seeking a dedicated University Rover Security Officer to join our professional team based in Ultimo, Sydney CBD. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-profile, dynamic university environment that offers variety, strong team support, and ongoing career development.

This is a physically active, patrol-focused role—ideal for someone who is fit, alert, and comfortable with extensive roving duties throughout the shift. Your presence will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors across campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roving patrols and support across the site
• Access control and security monitoring
• Incident response and accurate reporting
• Assist with control room operations as needed
• Ensure a safe, secure environment for all staff and visitors
• Current NSW Security Licence and First Aid Certificate
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Availability for 24/7 rotating roster (includes weekends & public holidays)

• Level 3 pay rate: $28.38/hour + super + shift loadings + reliever allowances
