M-POWER Partnerships & Projects Lead (14-month fixed-term contract)

M-POWER is MECCA’s movement for social change, championing our bold vision for gender equality and we are currently seeking a Partnerships and Projects Lead to join the team on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

The Role You Could Play

The Partnerships & Projects Lead, M-POWER is designed to support the Head of M-POWER across all aspects of the initiative. This role combines operational excellence, strategic project delivery, and strong partner management to ensure that M-POWER achieves its mission.

The Partnerships & Projects Lead is responsible for the planning, governance and execution of projects and workstreams across M-POWER, supporting the delivery of M-POWER’s partnerships and activations and leading the day-to-day operations including budgets and contracts. They will work across teams internally and externally, providing the structure, coordination and relationship management required to deliver campaigns, events, activations and impact reporting.

The Partnerships & Projects Lead, M-POWER will lead the daily relationship management of our M-POWERed Collective partners to support the delivery of our partnership goals, develop project plans for key M-POWER initiatives, coordinate across stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are met, manage the M-POWER budget and contracts with partners and suppliers and ensure integration with other departments and functions to ensure alignment with the broader MECCA business and its objectives.

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for an exceptional Partnerships & Projects Lead, M-POWER that can demonstrate the following:

Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in program or project management
• Experience in partnership management and external stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated ability to create cohesive, positive and collaborative team environments
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large scale, multi-layered programs involving multiple stakeholder groups
• Strong interest or experience in the community sector and/or gender equality
• Demonstrated experience in creative thinking and new ideas

Skills And Qualifications:

• Exceptional project management and partnership skills, with the ability to lead workstreams and deliver program objectives on-time, maximising impact for all stakeholder groups
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building and management skills
• Outstanding strategizing, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to take a concept or idea and build out a project plan and presentation
• Solid financial skillset with understanding of budgeting, resourcing and commercial objectives
• Skilled negotiator and problem-solver with a risk-aware mindset who can create innovative solutions to problems
• Confident and comfortable working with senior leaders, both internally and externally
• Resourceful, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - tenacity to do whatever it takes to progress program objectives
• Creative thinker with a strong purpose alignment and commitment to social impact
