Lead Analyst: AI Initiatives - Vice President

Job Summary

The Lead Analyst is an individual contributor that will be a key member of the CSIS Business Analytics team, responsible for supporting the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies across Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS). This individual contributor role will work closely with other AI Lead Analysts within the business unit and collaborate with CSIS AI Accelerators to execute AI-related program responsibilities. The role focuses on identifying opportunities for process improvement, conducting analytical exercises, evaluating AI tools, and managing AI-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, data expertise, and the ability to drive adoption through effective collaboration and communication.

The role is based in Budapest (primary location) or Mumbai (secondary location) and reports to the CSIS Global Business Analytics Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opportunity Identification & Strategic Roadmap: Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven and other tech enhancements, staying informed on AI trends to contribute to the strategic AI adoption roadmap.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct analytical exercises, interpret complex datasets, and collaborate with data owners to generate insights that inform decision-making and support AI initiatives.
• AI Tool Evaluation & Implementation: Research, assess, and recommend AI tools and platforms, leading proof-of-concept, and pilot initiatives to validate potential AI solutions.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor program performance, identify issues, implement effective resolutions, and define success metrics to ensure initiatives stay on track and deliver desired results.
• Communication, Training & Change Management: Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions to build AI awareness, translate complex technical concepts, and support a culture of innovation and technology adoption.
• Strategic Program Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end global AI change management programs, from initiation to flawless execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timely delivery, and quality outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Orchestrate multi-stakeholder engagement across all business units and senior leadership to foster seamless adoption, cultivate trust, and align diverse global teams on all initiatives.
• Program Design & Execution: Develop and implement high-impact program plans, including clear timelines, critical milestones, proactive risk mitigation, and robust success metrics to track and ensure successful delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and empower diverse cross-functional teams to deliver impactful change communications and integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.
• Culture, Advocacy & Governance: Champion AI awareness and education, promote responsible AI usage.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
• PMP, Prosci, Agile, or similar certifications are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, process improvement, and technology implementation.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting AI/ML-related initiatives, including tool evaluation and adoption.
• Proven success in managing cross-functional projects and engaging stakeholders.
• Experience conducting data analysis and generating actionable insights.

Skills

• Change Leadership: Proven ability to lead and drive significant change management within large-scale, technology-driven transformation initiatives, coupled with expertise in fostering technology adoption and effective organizational change.
• Exceptional Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Presentation Skills: Skilled in creating and delivering impactful presentations to large and diverse audiences.
• Prompt Engineering: Familiarity with designing and refining prompts for generative AI tools to improve relevance, accuracy, and usability of outputs.
• AI Familiarity: Strong familiarity with AI technologies, trends, and enterprise use cases is highly preferred. Understanding of AI concepts (e.g., machine learning, NLP, AI) and their business applications.
• Technical Depth: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI, as well as MLOps tools for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Global Collaboration:  Proven ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-cultural global teams, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Data Expertise: Strong analytical skills with experience in data exploration, visualization, and interpretation using tools like SQL, Python, R, or BI platforms.
• Tool Familiarity: Experience evaluating and working with AI platforms and tools.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
