The Position
Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Sales Operations, who will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of sales data, developing reporting tools, and supporting business development processes across the Consulting Business Units. This role will focus on pipeline management, analytics, and sales enablement initiatives that enhance visibility, streamline workflows, and strengthen business development execution. The Senior Specialist will collaborate closely with sales operations leadership, practice teams, and enterprise partners to provide analysis, reporting, and process improvements that drive growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Maintains Salesforce/CRM data integrity, including pipeline management, client accounts, relationship documentation, and tracking of business development activities
  • Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor pipeline health, pursuit progress, and business development targets; prepares reports, metrics, and presentations for leadership review
  • Builds ad hoc and recurring analyses to support strategic decision-making, including opportunity prioritization, pursuit ROI, and win/loss reviews
  • Designs, refines, and automates dashboards and reporting tools in Excel and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) to improve visibility into business development performance
  • Supports Consulting BU lead and pipeline management processes by logging, routing, and ensuring timely follow-up on new opportunities from Vizient BUs, Enterprise Principals, Member Networks, Marketing, and website inquiries
  • Coordinates and tracks logistics for business development meetings, conferences, and related events
  • Contributes to sales enablement and account management projects, business development campaigns, and process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Provides direct support to the VP, Sales Operations, including analysis, reporting, and special project execution

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales operations, business analytics, or consulting with proven success in managing data, reporting, and business development support. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 3+ years of relevant and related experience 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, with an emphasis on data integrity and reporting
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations for senior leaders
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professional presence

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations
  • Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading

Work Environment

  • Travel Required: Occasional 0-10%
  • The role is based in Chicago or Denver and requires 3 days per week in office.
  • Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and home office settings, and routinely uses standard office equipment
  • It may require the maintenance of a home office and proximity to an airport for work-related travel

The current base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $110,000.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $0.00 to $0.00.
