Purchasing Manager

We'Re Looking For A Strategic And Results-Driven Purchasing Manager To Lead Initial Procurement At Our Almelo And Eindhoven Supply Centers. In This Role, You'Ll Ensure The Timely, Sustainable, And Cost-Effective Sourcing Of Quality Materials And Services—Driving Performance And Boosting Our Competitive Edge.

You Are Based In Almelo.

Responsibilities

• Own The End-To-End Direct Procurement Activities For The Locations Almelo And Eindhoven.

• Ensure Compliance To The Procurement Tools Are Met And Drive Wider And Deeper Adoption Of The Procurement Platform.

• Adopt & Develop Global Sustainability (Net 0) Targets And Achieve Required Ongoing Targets.

• Develop Appropriate Supplier Relationships In Pursuance Of Purchasing Policies To Support Production Schedules And Customer Service Targets.

• Responsible For Delivering Npi (New Product Introductions) Purchasing Targets For The X-Ray Business.

• Manage The Reallocation Process And Make Sure That A Cadence Is Reached On New Ideas And Managing The Progress On Existing Projects.

• Evaluate And Appraise New And Current Suppliers In Line With Purchasing Policies, Iso9001 And Iso14001.

• Support The Implementation Of Best Practice Purchasing Methods Throughout The Supply Chain To Continually Improve Purchasing Performance, With Results Tracking.

• Implement & Support Lom (Lean Operating Model) Best Practices.

• Provide Regular And Accurate Management Information, As Required, Regarding The Procurement Function.

About You:

• At Least Five Years’ Experience In Procurement/Purchasing Role, Preferably One That Was Directly Involved With High-Mix Low-Volume Manufacture Encompassing Lean Methodology.

• At Least Two Year’S Departmental Management Experience Is Required.

• Ideally, Candidates Will Possess Knowledge And Experience Of Computerized Management System, Including Staff Training.

• Experience Within An Organization Accredited To Iso 9000 And Iso14001.

• Excellent Planning Skills, Ability To Prioritise And Mobilise A Team To Deliver Multiple Goals.

• Drive For Results Through Collaboration And Team-Working.

• Decisive While Working At Pace, Thoughtful About Problem Solving.
