Overview

ISS STOXX is growing! We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our global Market Intelligence Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to help the Scrum teams succeed at delivering high value, high quality software efficiently using Agile and Scrum principles and practices.

The Scrum Master drives Agile and Lean frameworks that result in quality product delivery and empowered Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all core Scrum events across all scrum teams assigned.
• Coach team members on the effective utilization of Agile and Scrum.
• Create an environment of collaboration alignment within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts.
• Promote continuous improvement of Agile practices and principles by coaching and leading by example
• Review and socialize sprint and team metrics to help highlight successes and areas for team improvement
• In partnership with Product Owner(s) collaborate on product roadmaps and the backlog.
• Ensure everyone on the team understands the project’s & sprints goals and scope.
• Guide the team through Agile project planning and commitment.
• Maintain tight coordination and dependency tracking across teams.
• Track, analyze and report on key Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown to monitor progress and team health
• Communicating organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team
• Embrace the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instill the same in your team(s).

Qualifications

Training & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree graduate of any IT or Software Development related course
• Scrum Master, PSM I, PSM II and/ or SAFe RTE certification is required.
• At least 8 years’ experience applying Agile and Scrum frameworks in software development OR at least 8 years of mixed experience in software development, QA & project management functions using Agile/Scrum.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum principles (familiarity with Agile Project Management and hands on experience with JIRA/Atlassian tools in software development project/s).
• Excellent coach, facilitator and effective communicator (possesses an executive presence and ability to coach multiple teams across the organization)
• Data-driven, detail-oriented and skilled in removing business and technical impediments

Experience working with any of the following would be a plus:

• Experience JIRA workflow & administration
• Around 5 or more years of working in Financial Services or a related industry

Work Location & Schedule:

• Amenable to work in an early morning shift (7 am- 4pm, Manila Time) at Makati City
• Amenable to work in a hybrid work arrangement (Mondays to Fridays; at least 3 days onsite work per week)
