Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• • Perform maker role for mortgage business, including documentation preparation & vetting, loan operation, title deeds and documents checking and mortgage discharge
• • Ensure all services to be delivered within the agreed service pledge
• • Ensure adherence to departmental guidelines and compliance of the Bank's policy
• • Report all process deviations to supervisor.
• • Handle ad-hoc matters and tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above is preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in loan documentation is preferred
• Good knowledge on Companies Ordinance and legal requirements for perfection of loan documentation
• Good knowledge and concept in mortgage products
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Prudent and attentive to details;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
