Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 am -3:30 pm

one Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, the other Friday 10:30 pm - 7:00 am (Late night)

One weekend off, the other 10:30 pm - 7:00 am (Late night).

One holiday on and One holiday off.

Pay Range

$18.50 - $27.75Major Responsibilities: Assembly of Patient trays. 3)Place cold/hot beverages according to menu selection in the appropriate area in a neat manner. 4)Record temperature of hot food at each meal. 5)Posses basic knowledge of diets. 6)Strips food trays of soiled dishes. 7)Follows dishwasher procedures. 8)Records dishmachine tempertures at each meal. 9)Records temperatures of refrigerators and freezers. 2)Place menu, tray, silverware, condiments,salad, desserts, and cold/hot entree on tray in the appropriate area and in a neat manner. 1)Responsible for trayline set up and service. Assembly of Cold Foods. 1)Prepares and assembles food items in a timely fashion following production schedule. 2)Places food items into appropriate serving containers according to portion control. 3)Utilizes food production system, including forecasting, production records and entering post production results. 4)Follow proper HACCP procedures to maintains food in proper temperature safety zone. 5)Ability to observe and taste food being prepared to check for flavor, texture and appropriate temperature. 6)Possess basic knowledge of diets. 7)Ability to see that all food items are attractively prepared and presented. Pot and Pan Sanitation 1)Scrape all pots, pans and utensils of food debris into garbage disposal. 2)Use three compartment sink to wash, rinse and sanitize all pots, pans and utensils. 3)Allow all pots, pans and utensils to air dry before placing them into proper storage. 4)Change three compartment sink frequently with proper water, soak and sanitizer. 5)Check sanitizing sink and record. 6)Collect and dispose of all trash and boxes. 7)Perform equipment cleaning as assigned. 8)Sweep and mop kitchen, cafe and offices according to schedule. Receiving and Ordering 1)Take inventory according to ordering schedule. 2)Place orders daily according to schedule. 3)Receive and store food items in proper location using FIFO method. 4)Sweep and mop walkin coolers, freezers, storeroom and back entrance. 5)place broken down empty boxes into dumpster. Maintenance of a safe and sanitary work environment, observing sanitation and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and licensure with regulatory agencies. 1)Maintains and sanitize work area and all related equipment. 2)Ensure that all food items are properly labeled, dated, rotated and stored appropriately. 3)Observe safety regulations regarding careful and correct operation of equipment. 4)Report to management equipment in need of repair. 5)Wear appropriate head covering and gloves when handling foods. 6)Promote patients safety by reporting of issues through established channels and participating as requested in safety initatives. 7)Rotate stock using FIFO method. 8)Perform all task using proper body mechanics. Participation in self development by attending mandatory inservices and education programs appropriate to the goals and needs of the department. 1)Attends all department/hospital inservices and other meetings as required. 2)Must complete annual CBT. 3)Participation in Associate Satisfaction Survey. 4)Submits ideas for changes or improvement to manager. 5)Willing to interact with Co-workers in a team atmosphere in order to help find a better way to perform the job. 6)Ensure compliance to all regulatory agencies standards. 7)Participates in efforts to monitor and improve patient satisfaction through Press Ganey Scores. 8)Submits ideas for reducing department expenses and maintaining budget. Education/Experience Required: High school graduate or Equivalent. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Must be able to read, follow instructions, count money, and use basic math skills. N/A Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to communicate with customers. Ability to do medium lifting between 20 to 50 pounds occassionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/ or up to 10 pounds constantly. Ability to push and pull associated with duties. If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
