Job Description

As Junior Legal Counsel for International Operations, you will be required to:

• Collaborate with and support Traveloka’s global partnerships teams to help build and grow relationships with financial institutions, tourism boards, digital platforms and other strategic business partners across all markets in which Traveloka operates.
• Draft, review and negotiate marketing and partnership agreements in all locations in which Traveloka operates, including sponsorships, marketing campaigns, co-branding deals and affiliate agreements, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and support stakeholders in achieving commercial goals.
• Provide succinct and actionable legal advice on the applicable Indonesian law and regulations for marketing and partnerships agreements.
• Develop a deep understanding of Traveloka’s business and commercial goals, including its partnership growth objectives and priorities.
• Advise the business on commercial claims and provide guidance regarding the performance of contracts.
• Assist with dispute resolution to the extent necessary.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A growth mindset and a good understanding of e-commerce and the travel industry. 
• Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills. 
• A law degree from a reputable university.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification working experience at a reputable law firm or multinational corporation as a legal counsel. 
• Extensive knowledge of Indonesian laws and regulations applicable to the travel industry.
• Excellent English language abilities, both oral and writing.
