Associate Digital Design Engineer

About the Role
As an Associate Digital Design Engineer, you will assist in the design and development of digital integrated circuits (ICs) under the supervision of senior engineers. You'll gain hand-on experience with industry-standard design tools and methodologies while supporting projects that contribute to ADI's innovative product portfolio. This entry-level position provides an excellent foundation for building your career in digital design engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support RTL design and verification activities for digital modules and components
  • Assist with FPGA prototyping and testing under guidance from experienced engineers
  • Participate in basic debugging and timing analysis tasks for digital circuits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analog, verification, and test engineers
  • Document design work and test results according to team standards
  • Develop foundational skills in digital design tools and methodologies

Must Have Skills

  • Digital Circuit Design: Basic understanding of combinational and sequential circuit design principles and implementation
  • Verilog/SystemVerilog: Fundamental knowledge of hardware description languages for creating simple digital modules
  • Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard tools for digital design and simulation
  • Static Timing Analysis: Basic concepts of timing constraints and clock domain analysis
  • FPGA Implementation: Introductory knowledge of FPGA design flow and prototyping
  • Scripting: Basic scripting capabilities (Python, Perl, etc.) for design automation tasks


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in digital design
