Associate Design Verification Engineer

About the Role
As an Associate Design Verification Engineer at Analog Devices, you will be responsible for developing test benches and performing design verification of new digital, analog, and mixed-signal products prior to tape-out.
This entry-level position focuses on learning and development while working under close direction with regular review. You'll gain hands-on experience with verification methodologies and tools while collaborating with experienced engineers who will guide your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute basic test benches for mixed-signal product verification
  • Create and maintain basic test environments using SystemVerilog/UVM
  • Conduct code coverage analysis to ensure design accuracy
  • Debug simulation failures and track coverage metrics
  • Support verification planning and documentation
  • Collaborate with design teams to understand requirements
  • Identify potential design issues under guidance of senior team members
  • Document verification processes and results

Must Have Skills

  • SystemVerilog and UVM: Basic proficiency in creating and maintaining test environments for digital design verification
  • Scripting: Basic knowledge of Python, Perl or TCL to support automation tasks
  • Verilog RTL: Fundamental understanding of Register Transfer Level design concepts
  • Digital Interfaces: Basic understanding of common protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Simulation Tools: Familiarity with simulation environments and waveform debugging
  • Problem Solving: Ability to work on problems of limited scope and complexity
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication for effective teamwork


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience; new graduates are welcome to apply
