About The Role
The purpose of this role is to support the COO in delivering the operational strategy for the people solutions team. You will be required to provide support in maximising efficiency of current systems and infrastructures,
The impact of this role is to significantly contribute to the Lockton People Solutions growth agenda through investigating quality problems and supporting the implementation of changes and improvements. This role requires ongoing evaluation of systems, data and processes to identify areas of growth opportunity.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maximise efficiency of current systems & infrastructure
- Investigate quality problems and recommend changes or improvements
- Facilitate the introduction across the division of new processes or improvements to existing processes
- Ongoing evaluation of systems, analysing data, evaluating processes to establish best practice and identify opportunities for improvement
- Establish optimal internal tech solution with input & support from key stakeholders
- Ensure that all activities undertaken are compliant with current regulatory and internal standards and procedures
- Monitoring of cash collection performance & Bad Debt
- Responsibility for Forecasting, Budgeting & tracking Actuals in relation to revenue & expenses
- Maintain Divisional Risk Register and identify emerging risks
- Monitoring of Company KPI goals with the Division, ensuring remedial action where performance falls below company expectation
- Preparation of material for governance meetings (Business Unit reports, Divisional ExCo meetings, Team meetings)
- NDA Champion & signatory
- Key contact for internal & external audit queries
- Responsibility for Divisional payaways (inbound & outbound)-reconciliation & settlement
- Work on corporate operational improvement projects
- Ensure that necessary policies and standards for service quality are set and maintained and that compliance is assured
- Drive business success by identifying, triaging, and developing areas of change to enhance efficiency and cost saving, revenue growth, and to maximise value
- Take a change initiative from ideology and planning, through to development and deployment, working across business functions and with multiple stakeholders to achieve a successful outcome
- Understands both internal and customer requirements and translates them into product requirements
- Maintain responsibility for People Solutions 'Library' site ensuring files uploaded are of a high quality, version control is maintained & naming conventions are adhered to
- Deputise for COO at meetings as and where appropriate
- Ad hoc support to the COO and Business Unit Leader as required
