The Purilogics Engineering team based in in Bloomington, MN is looking for an Engineering Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the development, evaluation, and validation of exciting, differentiated technologies to position us as a market leader. Key responsibilities and qualifications to be successful in this role are listed below. This position will be based out of Bloomington, MN.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical experiments, tests and analyses
• Prepare chemical solutions and buffers
• Operate laboratory test equipment: Following established procedures
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment: Adapting to changing priorities and demands
• Contribute to the development of new test procedures
• Maintain and follow proper storage of lab supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe lab environment: Following EHS and OSHA guidelines
• Perform service, maintenance, and safety inspections of laboratory equipment
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn project background and tasks
• Collaborate effectively in team environments and work independently as required
• Utilize online request system for lab assignments and submission of reports
• Document test results accurately following laboratory standards
• Undertake additional duties as assigned: Supporting overall laboratory operations
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
• AAS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
• 2+ years of prior experience in a laboratory

Minimum Qualifications:

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry, or related field
• Knowledge of lab environment, safety practices, and cleanliness
• Strong analytical, observational, and time management skills
• Commute to the office daily
• Experience in writing technical reports
• Comfortable with using hand tools
• Knowledge of test and measurement equipment
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Hourly Pay Range: $24.08 - $30.09, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
