Our Team

Our Explosive Ordnance Systems team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. Your Role

We are seeking a hands-on and people-focused Site Manager to lead our Eden facility. In this role, you’ll not only oversee operations but also shape a high-performing team environment where every person feels valued, supported, and equipped to succeed now and in the future.

As Site Manager, you will lead daily operations for our Depot in line with safety, compliance, and contract requirements. You’ll be the bridge between strategic direction from the Regional Manager and delivery on the ground — ensuring your team has the skills, confidence, and capability to exceed expectations.

  • Ensure operations meet OH&S, environmental, and hazard facility standards.
  • Recruit, coach, and manage staff performance and development.
  • Lead safe, efficient EO logistics and defence related activities.
  • Build strong client relationships and align services to their needs.
  • Resolve challenges diplomatically and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate requirements and foster partnerships across teams.

Your Experience

  • Diploma or higher in logistics/business, or equivalent proven work history.
  • Works independently while building strong relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage budgets, assets, and operations.
  • Background in logistics, warehousing, or Defence operations; Defence industry experience highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel between depots and interstate as required.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Suite and quick to learn new systems

Australian Defence Roles & Security

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
