As an Area Sales & Distribution Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing sales and distribution operations across assigned depots. Your mission will be to drive performance through effective team management, operational excellence, and strategic execution of in-store initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maximize store-level sales, enhance customer service, and ensure seamless merchandising execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sales and distribution activities within assigned territory.
- Oversee depot operations and evaluate performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement and growth.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts to support accurate inventory replenishment planning.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and ensure alignment between sales, merchandising, and distribution.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators, preparing detailed financial and budget updates for senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a sales, distribution, or operations management role.
- Must obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire.
- Some overnight travel required.
- 40–50% local travel expected.
- Competitive salary: $66,000 – $110,000 annually

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic proficiency in the use of a personal computer including Windows and the MicrosoftOffice Suite and Outlook. Basic understanding of financial/business requirements. The ability to communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing. The ability to effectively present information in group settings to a widevariety of audiences. Analytical and problem solving skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.Must meet the Federal Department of Transportation driver eligibility, medical certification requirements, and mustpossess a valid CDL from state of residence in order to operate a commercial motor vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 lbsor greater.
