Day in the life of a Warehouse Storeperson at Wicked Sister

Our production warehouse is the backbone of our state of the art manufacturing facility you will be supporting our busy production teams with varied forklift operations including loading & unloading trucks, putting away materials and stock both inside the dry ingredients and chilled areas of the production warehouse using high reach forklifts, timely supply of bulk and non-bulk raw materials, inventory management, ensuring finished product is stored and ready for distribution, assisting with distribution including loading trucks. You will also undertake other general warehouse storeperson duties to ensure our production warehouse is fully stocked, clean and safe.

We have two full time permanent positions available now working on afternoon shift - 1pm - 9.06pm

About You

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role or industry
• Hold a current forklift licence with demonstrated experience operating a forklift (high reach) in a warehouse/freezer environment (this is essential, if applicants do not have high reach experience, applications will not progress)
• Be physically fit, a team player, reliable along with a can-do attitude
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance
• An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and able to always demonstrate safe working practices
• Good verbal and written communication
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience with WMS (warehouse management system) and RF scanning.
• Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as required

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate they possess the required skills and experience including a minimum of 12 months experience operating a forklift (high reach & counterbalance) and will be required to meet pre-employment criteria including but not limited to a pre-employment medical.
