Job Summary:

This role is primarily responsible for operating a forklift to move panels and materials within the foam relief department. The position also supports foam relief operations, general material handling, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

What You Will Do:

• Operate forklift safely to move panels, foam, and other materials.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and maintain records.
• Support foam relief operations using hand and hot wire tools.
• Follow shop drawings to ensure correct relief depth and placement.
• Fill gaps with expanding foam and delaminate scrap panels.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist with machine adjustments and minor maintenance.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Support team members and assist in training new employees as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge:

• Grade 12 Education or previous job experience
• Valid forklift license/certificate.
• Ability to read tape measures (imperial and metric).
• Physically able to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and workplace safety practices.
