Join us as Tax Manager in the Netherlands
Are you ready to take on a dynamic international tax role in a purpose-driven organization ? We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in the Netherlands. As part of the Group CFO function, within the Tax, Treasury & ESG department, you’ll play a key role in managing international direct tax matters across the Group, while also owning Dutch tax compliance.
Reporting to the Head of Direct Tax based in Switzerland, this is a unique opportunity to work in a global environment with exposure to a wide range of Dutch and international tax topics.
Your day at Ferring
- Act as a primary contact for Dutch tax authorities, managing audits with support from local advisors.
- Contribute to the effective management of direct tax risks and opportunities across the Group.
- Support the Head of Direct Tax on strategic projects, such as:
- Own the tracking and monitoring of global tax return filings across the Group.
- Provide training and advisory support on direct tax matters in various jurisdictions.
- Coordinate the Group-wide implementation of Pillar II compliance.
- Stay ahead of OECD/EU tax developments and advise on their impact.
- Lead, prepare and file Dutch corporate income tax returns, in close collaboration with finance teams.
- Partner with the Dutch Finance Manager on tax disclosures and reporting for local financial statements.
- Implementation of new tax technology
- Tax training and guidance for global finance teams
- Review of IFRS quarterly tax reporting (current and deferred tax)
- Preparation of annual Group tax provisions
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Tax, or a related field.
- Dutch tax/accounting qualification or relevant experience with Dutch tax authorities preferred.
- Proven experience in a tax department, either in practice or industry.
- Hands-on experience with Dutch corporate income tax filings and tax audits.
What You Bring
- Familiarity with Pillar II and other OECD/EU initiatives is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational & coordination skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a pragmatic approach to prioritization.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with tax technologies is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch fluency or proficiency is preferred.
