Financial Controller/Finance Manager

Reporting directly to the CFO and being part of the Senior Leadership Team, in this role you will see yourself working across all levels of the business.

About The Role

As our Financial Controller/Finance Manager, you'll provide comprehensive financial leadership while supporting our finance team to ensure GVG’s financial health and strategic growth. This is more than just managing numbers – it's about being a key decision-maker who influences our company's future success in the construction industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:-

• Financial Strategy and Planning
• Financial Management and Reporting
• Project Finance Support
• Risk Management
• Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with GVG strategic goals
• System Development - Drive finance system integration and continuous improvement across departments

What We're Looking For:-

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Relevant post-graduate qualification (CPA, Chartered Accountant)
• 5-7 years of professional experience in a commercial environment (construction or property industry experience highly regarded)
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Experience with financial software and management systems
• Strong ethical standards, confidentiality, accountability and integrity
