The Opportunity

As the Manager, People & Culture, you will partner with the leadership team to deliver our HR strategy and operational plans, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain talent to meet current and future workforce needs.

Reporting to the Vice President, Engagement & Wellbeing, you will oversee a dedicated HR team while driving initiatives that strengthen organisational culture, streamline HR processes, and support compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the People & Culture team to ensure timely and effective HR service delivery.
  • Provide strategic and operational HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives that foster engagement and performance.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
  • Oversee payroll operations and collaborate with Finance to resolve issues.
  • Drive HR process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with workplace legislation, awards, and best practice.
  • Contribute to WHS, wellbeing, and workforce safety initiatives.

About You

You are an experienced HR leader with a passion for building engaged, high-performing teams. You bring strong influencing skills, sound judgement, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

You Will Also Bring:

  • Degree qualifications in Human Resources (postgraduate desirable).
  • At least 7 years’ HR generalist experience in Australia, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proven success managing HR teams and delivering initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, workplace relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present to executive and board level.
  • A track record of coaching leaders and driving cultural change.
