Events Supervisor

Are you an experienced events professional ready to step into a leadership role? We’re seeking an Events Supervisor to oversee the successful delivery of events at the State Buildings & COMO The Treasury, one of Perth’s most iconic hospitality destinations.

About The Role

As Events Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Events Coordinator and Event & Wedding Sales Executive to drive the performance of the Events team and ensure every event from elegant weddings and private dinners to large-scale conferences and corporate functions exceeds expectations.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead client meetings, provide accurate forecasting, deliver detailed reports, and contribute to budget planning. You’ll not only ensure operational excellence but also provide strategic insights to maximise revenue opportunities and strengthen our market position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client and event planning meetings to ensure seamless execution
• Prepare accurate forecasts and provide support to the Director of Sales & Marketing with budget planning
• Submit monthly reports on enquiries, confirmed business, competitor activity, conversion targets, and new market opportunities
• Analyse market trends and intelligence to identify growth opportunities
• Oversee event documentation, financial tracking, and end-of-month reporting
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding client service and building strong relationships with stakeholders

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• 2–3 years’ experience in events, hospitality, or a similar supervisory role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence in conducting meetings and preparing professional reports
• A commercial mindset with experience in forecasting and budget support
• Proficiency in event systems (iVvy, SevenRooms, Opera, Bepoz)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
