At Panera, we believe in great food and great people, and we are looking for a Sr Digital Product Manager to help us bring that to life in our digital experiences. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Sr Digital Product Manager will play a key role in the evolution of Panera’s consumer-facing digital channels. The ideal candidate will leverage data and user research to identify solutions that create best-in-class experiences for our customers and maximize benefit to the organization.
The candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of Newton, MA and follow a hybrid work model, with three days per week required in the office.
Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively identify unmet customer needs and create innovative concepts to address said needs.
- Develop supporting business cases, including financial impact and benefits statements, to support feature/functionality concepts and sell the concepts to internal audiences through persuasive oral and written presentations.
- Define roadmaps to meet business goals, improve user experiences, drive KPIs and achieve technical wins, then engage in active negotiation with peers to make recommendations to senior leadership.
- Own and manage execution against the product roadmap, championing the needs of consumers, business teams and stakeholders throughout the development process.
- Anticipate upstream and downstream impacts of projects and work with internal business groups to adjust business tools and practices in order to support new features & functionality.
- Partner with peers to coordinate efforts, identify interdependencies, and maintain consistency across projects.
- Partner with UX team to build world-class user experiences that address specific user pain points and business goals.
- Define and document requirements as part of an agile framework that directly support the primary objectives of the project, are appropriate in size for iterative development and include clear and specific acceptance criteria.
- Complete UAT and participate in release activities.
- Analyze customer data and turn those insights into actions.
- Identify and partner with key vendors and technology partners to solve technical and business challenges.
- Champion process improvements.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Qualifications Include:
- 7+ years of consumer-facing product management experience, B2B and B2C e-Commerce experience preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Experience with the agile development methodology
- Self-starter who is comfortable and effective in times of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Ability to balance multiple objectives, projects and goals simultaneously
- Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, and negotiating skills
- Technical proclivity to learn new systems/technology for future incorporation or integration into the digital experience
- Obsession with creating great customer experiences
- BA/BS
Working Conditions
- Required travel – travel to Newton and Fenton Support Centers a few times per year for company/team events.
Physical Requirements
- While performing this job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand, sit, talk hear & use hands and fingers to operate keyboards
