The Analytics Team
At Arity, our Business Intelligence team is at the core of helping us transform mobility. This is a Summer 2026 internship for students currently enrolled in a degree program. This role is responsible for the use and development of the data that powers analytics projects for internal and external audiences. This person partners with others on work with data analysts and analytic engineers on tactical solutions. This role will participate on new ETL work tracks for Business Intelligence from inception and prototyping to fully developed solutions. This is a highly dynamic position that requires a greater degree of flexibility, analytic agility, and the ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements/needs, new technologies, and data sources. This role also requires business acumen in order to output the best technical solutions.
Job Description
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to Data Analytic problems combining technical expertise with analytics and business knowledge
- Work with other Data Analytic Engineers, Data Analysts, and business partners on embedded cross-functional teams; developing subject matter expertise in the business as well as data analytics
- Execute on requirements to develop datasets for use by Data Analysts and business users
- Execute rapid development of new data work tracks with fast iteration over quick sprints
- Leverage and enhance the data infrastructure required to support Analytic needs, including AirFlow, GCP Composer and BigQuery.
- Build test scripts, execute testing, work with data engineers, analysts and business partners to ensure end user acceptance
- Contribute to an environment that supports innovation and process improvement
- Contribute to the development of corporate research data files, information platforms or data spaces designed for exploring and understanding the data
- Demonstrate analytic agility to meeting fluid and dynamic business needs in this space
Job Qualifications
- Target start date: May/June 2026
- Currently pursuing and will be completing a bachelor’s degree in a field such as Computer Science or equivalent skills
- Basic familiarity with Python and/or Scala and SQL
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and source control (Github)
- Basic familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Computer Proficiency in Linux and bash
- Experience in time and task management
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels
Preferred:
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in a field such as Computer Science or Data Analytics
- Development knowledge and experience in Spark or other distributed processing frameworks
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and related technology (scikit-learn, pandas, tensorflow) or geospatial analysis a plus

Compensation offered for this role is between $20 and $42 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
