Your Role
Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. writes and maintains test automation. Follows quality assurance standards and processes. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software quality assurance field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of quality assurance tasks. Follows disciplined software quality assurance practices.

Your Impact
The individual will be playing important role in ensuring high quality standards across multiple products within PLM QA team. this job is required to develop, maintain test scripts for PTC Windchill PLM areas like, this will also involve the individual to work on installing, deploying, configuring Application on On-Prem systems and Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Your Team
You will be part of quality assurance team which is responsible for testing PLM (Windchill) applications.

• Your Day-to-Day
• The individual will be responsible for:   
•     Actively collaborate with Developers, QA leads, Technical Product managers, to shape the product and deliver product releases.
•     Develop and execute test scripts, validate test results. (Manual and Automation)
•     Analyze requirements to define System Test Strategy and scope of Testing.
•     Create Test Plan and Estimate Efforts for QA Testing.
•     Follow the company’s software development life cycle (SDLC) and participate in QA reviews, validation of requirements and specification documents.
•     Provide feedback to the team on product quality, call out risks/issues (if any), and can balance quality with time bound delivery with a release perspective.
•     Write/Maintain test scripts, Also Maintain automated test suites.
•     Identify opportunities to Improve Process Efficiency and Overall Productivity.
•     Ability to work with the QA manager to come up with a testing strategy for a given release with inputs from the team, (if needed)
•     Participate in daily standups, SCRUM meetings/events etc..
•     Understand the product domain, vision, roadmap, and team goals of the product.
•     Ready to work on a fast-paced geographically distributed team doing frequent releases.
•     Monitoring underlying infrastructure to ensure it runs smoothly and that systems and tools are working as expected. Ensure system resiliency and availability. 
• Must-Have Skills
•     2 to 3 years of experience and hands-on Java, Selenium WebDriver, UI/API Automation Testing and Manual testing.
•     Experience in Infrastructure tools, Jenkins, Docker (Basics)
•     Experience with RDBMS – Oracle, SQL Server, writing simple/complex SQL queries.
•     Experience in designing and implementing Automation framework.
•     Experience with QA testing of software applications.
•     Experience working with Agile environment.
•     A great attitude and drive to continuously learn and understand things.
•     Should have ability to learn new technologies and pick up as and when required.
•     Strong Troubleshooting, Debugging and Problem solving skills.
•     Strong verbal & written communications skills.
•     Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python is added advantage.
•     Having PLM domain knowledge is added advantage.
• Education Qualification:
•         Bachelors (or) Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology (or) Mechanical Engineering with first class.
