The primary role of the Pricing Investigation Executive is to validate the claim from a customer for pricing within defined SLAs.
Dispute cases will be received from the Back Office to the Pricing Investigation Executive within defined SLA's and the Pricing Investigation Team will validate or invalidate the pricing claim against set SLAs and according to Standard Operating Policies (“SOPs”).
How you will contribute
You Will:
- Review Customer's Pricing claims in pre-deduction and deduction status
- Check Customer's claims against TPM promotions in DMS
- Ensure customer is claiming for correct promotion period
- Ensure Customer is claiming correct promotional price
- Validate findings with Commercial where necessary
- Obtain relevant approvals for credits where necessary
- Request credits where customer's claim is valid
- Assign Root Cause for all valid and invalid claims
- Invalidate Claims to customers where necessary
- Ensure appropriate backup and supporting information is detailed within the Dispute Case before setting case to BO for collections
- Support with any additional information received from customer's to validate their claim
- Complete any Governance Review packs
- Liaise with Pricing Prevention and Maintenance Teams on any Root Cause issues
- Escalate pricing issues to Specialist in a timely manner if stakeholders not responding
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- A degree level education is preferred or Part Qualified/Qualified Chartered Institute of Credit Management Member.
- The ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences & effective business partnering is crucial to this role.
- Good numerical, analytical & logical reasoning skills.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Office Applications is essential with some experience of SAP being desirable.
- Solid & demonstrable experience working within an FMCG company.
- Previous experience of working within a customer facing role & an order to cash environment would be beneficial.
