The Aitech team seeks a highly talented Production Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all production and RMA operations for MIL/Aero and Space product lines. This role ensures on-time delivery, product quality, and team performance in support of both current and new programs. The manager will work cross-functionally, including with global Aitech teams, to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Program & Production Oversight
- Lead and ensure the success and on-time delivery of all MIL/Aero, Space, and RMA projects.
- Oversee all production activities related to MIL/Aero and Space product lines.
- Ensure RMA products are received, repaired, and returned to customers within committed timeframes.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on development and NPI (new product introduction) programs.
- Coordinate with global operations to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Define, track, and manage KPIs for all active programs.
- Direct planners and buyers to ensure the supply chain provides required materials.
Daily Operations & Execution
- Manage and supervise all production operations, including Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Testing, Stockroom, and Shipping/Receiving.
- Provide accurate and timely production status updates to Operations Management, Program Management, Engineering, and downstream production areas.
- Ensure production tasks are completed according to program requirements, quality standards, and committed schedules.
- Ensure employees are properly trained and receive effective supervision and direction to complete assignments efficiently and cost-effectively, in compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and work rules.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments, and the broader organization to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure all quality-related work is completed and documented to meet internal and customer standards.
- Support and drive cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
People Management
- Lead and develop a team of planners, buyers, and other direct reports.
- Establish performance goals and regularly review team member progress.
- Mentor and support the career growth and skill development of team members.
- Identify organizational talent gaps and participate in hiring decisions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Direct supply chain efforts to ensure timely material availability.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues impacting delivery, quality, or timelines.
Reporting & Communication
- Maintain detailed status tracking across all projects and programs.
- Provide accurate weekly status reports to the Chief Delivery Officer and other stakeholders
AiTech offers a competitive total rewards package aligned with the individual’s skills, knowledge, and experience, and in line with both internal standards and external market practices. The expected annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 a year.
